FOOD CHAIN LABELS

These are a few of the labels I created for my fifth-grade class. We used these labels and yarn to model food chains in groups of 5 or more. Each chain consists of color-coordinating labels that all belong to the same ecosystem. Students were to work in groups to model and explain their food chain. The kids were engaged and actively discussing the relationships between producers, consumers, and decomposers.
