Student Teaching

This semester has been hectic but in a good way. I have the privilege of student teaching for my last semester. I decided to move back home to be fully present during this experience. I am currently in a 5th-grade class observing an amazing teacher who has shared many techniques and ideas I was unaware of. Being in the classroom has shown me how different every day can be. Each day is a new day, with new obstacles and accomplishments. I’ve learned to accept that I won’t always have the answer; I must take advantage of the resources around me. Student Teaching has been a great experience that has allowed me to test the teaching waters and figure out what works for me. I am excited to learn new skills to improve my teaching and future students’ learning experience.
